Triad is no stranger to urban and growing school issues. In Pennsylvania, we have earned the trust of Harrisburg, Chester-Upland and Lancaster school districts as they have faced a variety of economic and other issues.
Triad’s success in facilitating state funding for the Harrisburg School District has been well documented in the Patriot-News and other publications. In addition, Triad worked behind the scenes to produce a community newsmagazine insert for district residents, place content on the district’s cable access station, handle media relations associated with test score results, as well as crisis communications surrounding the first case of MRSA reported in a district school building. By providing prompt, fact-based background information from public health officials and others, the Harrisburg announcement became a message of calm empowerment rather than exploitation of an “urban” issue.
