The Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences unveiled a $1.2 million Clinical Simulation Laboratory (CSL) at a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at the college.
In attendance were U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, U.S. Representative Joseph Pitts, and state representatives Roy Baldwin and Rep. Michael Sturla. At the heart of the CSL are the human patient simulators including the ultra-sophisticated and versatile simulator that can blink, speak, breathe, have a heartbeat and pulse.
Senator Santorum also discussed legislation to encourage caregiving and planning for long-term care: the Aging with Respect and Dignity Act.
