John O’Boyle brings an executive branch and northeast Pennsylvania perspective to Triad’s lobbying clients. A senior associate, he is Triad’s presence in Scranton. His 16 years in state and local government, and his experience as a lawyer, position him to frame issues and forge winning strategies for clients in the Scranton region and beyond.
John served as a key aide to the late Gov. Robert P. Casey. He was deputy executive assistant to the governor, in charge of boards and commissions, and he supervised the Division of State Employment.
His other public service roles included a stint on the advisory board of the Pennsylvania Tuition Account Program, assistant county solicitor for Lackawanna County, attorney for the state Board of Claims, culminating in seven years of executive positions with Auditor General Bob Casey.
He recently was appointed as solicitor to the Lackawanna County minority commissioner and solicitor to the Northumberland County Home Rule Study Commission. A Lackawanna County native, he is a graduate of the University of Scranton and the Widener University School of Law. |
