Teresa, an associate in the firm's lobbying practice, keeps clients ahead of the proverbial curve. Her unsurpassed research capabilities, understanding of the public policy process and extensive network on Capitol Hill help to identify funding opportunities for clients seeking economic development grants and public financing sources. She also provides clients with an early warning and tracking system for news and policy proposals that affect them.
Before arriving at Triad, Teresa covered the General Assembly for two news and legislative tracking services, providing in-depth analysis and research for a wide range of clients.
As senior vice president of Pennsylvania Legislative Services, she was instrumental in starting a legislative tracking service by customizing the service, developing and implementing a marketing plan, deepening client relations to improve satisfaction and retention, and establishing a rapport with associations, businesses, lobbyists, state government agencies, the General Assembly and the governor’s office.
Before that, she worked for a law firm, providing client support, legal research, analysis and writing. Her practice areas were personal injury, workers compensation, divorce, corporate law and estate planning. She has also worked as a documentation specialist and human resource manager for a medical device manufacturer.
Teresa has been involved in several political campaigns and in county politics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Teresa currently serves as the Vice President of Individual Development for the Susquehanna Valley Jaycees. |
