Julie Massing, a communications assistant, brings her experience and insight as an award-winning journalist to Triad Strategies and its clients.
Julie worked as a reporter at the Times West Virginian in Fairmont, W.V.; and the Hanover Evening Sun in Hanover, PA, and the Erie Times-News in Erie, PA. She wrote on topics ranging from higher education to municipal government issues to entertainment.
If a client needs to get a story out, Julie knows how to write it and how to pitch it to newspapers. Her communications skills have been utilized by Triad clients such as Philadelphia Coalition, the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency and the Delaware River Maritime Enterprise Council.
Julie earned her bachelors degree in English from Edinboro University in 2002. She also holds a master’s degree from Edinboro University with concentrations in communication, public relations, integrated marketing communication and conflict management.
Julie resides in Harrisburg. Her leisure activities include reading, traveling, writing poetry and spending time with her family. She also enjoys volunteering at a local animal shelter and practicing her amateur photography skills. |
