At the place where ideas meet action, Triad clients find Erika. The self-described eyes and ears of the firm, Erika ensures the strategies necessary to client success reach ground level from 30,000 feet and that the finer details do not get lost in the shuffle. She helps to create the cohesive networks that keep clients engaged.
Erika joined Triad in 2008 as an intern in the strategic communications practice and quickly began work as a legislative assistant in the government affairs practice. Her background in media management and relations became an important bridge to her work in the lobbying practice of behalf of labor and healthcare interests. She is recognized as the go-between, detail-oriented person who is passionate about having a positive impact on public policy and civic engagement.
As a legislative assistant, Erika researches and analyzes policy issues and legislation, works on grants, and is involved in the client procurement process. If she is not on “the Hill” in Harrisburg, she is most likely in Philadelphia working with City Council and Triad’s extensive list of southeastern Pennsylvania and federal clients.
Before joining Triad, Erika interned with the House Democratic Caucus Chairman during the summer of 2005. While interning for Democratic leadership, she worked on legislation that became the minimum wage increase, provided constituent services and web communications work.
Erika graduated with honors in 2007 with a degree in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, she was inspired by her professors to be at the forefront of important public policy debates. Erika is a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Government Relations Committee and Women in Pennsylvania Government Relations. |
