Virginia (Ginger to us!) is the true “utility infielder” of the Triad governmental relations squad. From day to day, she may be asked to track legislation, research bills, set meetings, cover hearings, attend regulatory meetings, or hit the Hill on behalf of and with any or all of Triad’s clients. She can basically cover any spot in the infield at a moment’s notice, and she never commits an error.
An associate with the government relations practice, Ginger maintains relationships with legislators and top staff, Republican and Democrat alike, and she is swift to identify bills being introduced that could have an effect on our clients. She can flag a piece of legislation, it seems, long before anyone outside the building even knows what is happening. Her early warning system has helped Triad protect our clients’ interests time and again.
As part of our team concept, she helps with the management of a number of different clients, ranging from energy to agriculture, education to labor. You can often find her on the Hill, helping to execute the strategic legislative plans we pride ourselves on developing.
In addition she serves as a liaison with government agencies in responding to client inquiries. And serving as one of Triad’s in-house news Tweeters, she shares news articles internally and externally keeping everyone informed of happenings locally, around the state and nationwide on a daily basis.
Prior to joining Triad, Ginger worked for the Harrisburg School District. As the superintendent’s assistant, she worked with the school board members, administrators, teachers, parents and students on a variety of issues. She also served as the superintendent’s liaison with local agencies and interest groups.
Ginger has coordinated political fundraising events on behalf of the firm for Bob Casey’s 2004 bid for PA Treasurer, John Payne’s 2003 bid for Pennsylvania House of Representatives 106th legislative district and Mike Fisher’s 2002 bid for PA Governor.
She is a member of Women in Government Relations, currently serves as co-chair, and is a past officer of the Perry County Council of Republican Women.
Ginger attended Harrisburg Area Community College and York College of Pennsylvania.
